  16. Drawman is a sophisticated data graphics generation and presentation program for
  17. data in Lotus 1-2-3, Symphony, and Visicalc DIF (Data Interchange Format) and
  18. user-generated data formats.  Graphs may be printed using an Epson MX-80 printer
  19. or an HP 7470 plotter, or they may be organized into a slide show for a
  20. sequenced presentation on a computer monitor.  According to the manual, a
  21. version of Drawman was licensed to Plantronics for sale with their color
  22. graphics card and many have been sold commercially at $200.

  24. The program has too many features to list.  The ability to use data files
  25. developed on a text editor or in Drawman's edit mode and the ability to save
  26. screen images of data graphs to files, however, should be noted.  The
  27. weakest part of the program is its support for printers.  According to the
  28. documentation, only the Epson MX-80 printer and the HP 7470 plotter are
  29. supported devices.  Whether or not this has been corrected in later versions
  30. is unknown.

  32. A comprehensive User's Manual is included on the disk, although it may not
  33. get much use due to the excellent "context sensitive" help screens which are
  34. available at any step in the program.

  36. System requirements to run Drawman are 2 disk drives, 128K (160K
  37. recommended) bytes of RAM memory, a graphics adapter and graphics monitor,
  38. and DOS 1.1 or later.  The manual notes that visual difficulty may be
  39. encountered using a monochrome monitor and gives instructions on modifying a
  40. setup file to alleviated this problem.
